Nuclear Freeze

Are you ready for a chilling experience?

Friday morning, before the second day of the conference, we challenge you to swim among ice flakes in the Oslo fjord. But don’t worry, you will soon regain your heat, enthusiasm and inspiration in the steaming hot saunas with a lovely view of the Oslo fjord.

Bring a towel, your swimming gear and join the Nuclear Freeze between 7AM - 8:30 AM at Oslo Badstuforening (Oslo Sauna Association), Langkaia 1. It’s only a ten minute walk from the conference venue.

PS 1. The Nuclear Freeze campaign was a mass movement in the United States during the 1980s to secure an agreement between the U.S. and Soviet governments to halt the testing, production, and deployment of nuclear weapons.

PS 2. Oslo Sauna Association was formed in 2016 by anarchists and diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ ice bathing club.
